Best backpackers in the central north island without a doubt. Clean, organised, comfortable beds, all the important stuff. It has plenty of shared space, so makes for a very social experience. The outdoor area is lovely.
The hot pools down the road in Tokaanu are the best in the area, perfect for a soak after walking the Tongariro crossing.
